Good morning all, my soil is warming up nicley on the top few inches however it is VERY wet a spit depth down, should i turn it over so it can warm up before planting?

Sounds like you have a drainage problem there. I would dig and incorporate some grit and compost and don't worry about losing soil warmth at the moment - it is still early and it's going to get colder this weekend.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Thanks for the tip Goosegirl, and YES you guessed it, we do have a drainage problem.

I think it would help if you turn it over as the wind will dry it.

If you have a drainage problem we went to the local drainage firm bought some dainage pipe and dug that in. That sorted the problem.

Now we used raised beds and had I know abou them before I would have put those in.
