Title: Which lawn mower
Post by: moggy on May 14, 2008, 11:58
HI everyone

i need a new lawnmower as the petrol i inherited is just to severe for my little lawn

i was looking at the following

flymo compact 350 - £60
Qualcast concorde 32 - £70
qualcast panther £40
qualcast elan 32 - £90

i like the idea of getting stripes on the law so was thinking of the concorde 32 but i also like the idea of the flymo

any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

cheers
Moggy

I had a flymo compact and it was useless. The blade wore out in next to no time and my lawn was fairly flat with no stones.

I bought an ebay bosch rotak last year and it has a lot more power than the flymo and cuts much better so is far easier to use. It has a small plastic roller at the back which I suppose does stripe to a certain extent.

I dont rate flymo much, dumped mine for a qualcast which are also marketed under the Bosch label same machine different colour.
