First things (EVER) planted at the allotment :D

Its been a very productive long weekend for me. Took Friday and Monday off as it was my birthday on Friday.

Anyway I now have things growing on my first allotment. Its only been a couple of months or so since it was just part of a field!

Yesterday I managed to get 5 rhubarb cuttings (is that the right word?) planted.. The original plant has been growing for about 40 years in my nans garden and loads of people have taken plants from it over the years!

And then today I went down and planted the 21 raspberry canes that my mum very kindly bought me for my birthday!

Its such a good feeling knowing there is something now growing yay 

It is such a great feeling isn't it Dan
