Title: Just got an allotment!

Hi there

I have just got an allotment!! I'm so excited. Its a half plot (125 sq m) and at the moment it's just grass and weed so lots of digging ahead.

Just looking for advice going forward as I'm a complete novice.

Also any ideas on where I can source a cheap shed?

Welcome.  Here in East Sussex sheds are as rare as hen's teeth.  We've been quoted 20 weeks by some suppliers for an 8 x 6, we've now got one ordered for mid August by which time I will be used to having the lawnmower in the dining room!  No garage and original shed collapsed.

This is a delightful place to hang out and you will acquire more knowledge than you ever thought you needed.

Hi there & welcome to lots of chat & banter. Round here there’s always lots of cheap or even free sheds on Facebook marketplace. You need to have transport available quickly though & be handy to be able to do a bit of repair work. Or try eBay or gumtree
