I have some mini red ones (only get to about 18") growing in my coldframe and wondered if they are ok to plant into their pots now, I know the seedlings that grow from the seeds the birds drop seem to be pretty hardy.

Sunflowers are quite hardy and should stand a bit of frost overnight, if they've been hardened off.
