If you keep these in pots then when covered in the little horrors just dunk the infested plant upside down in soapy water to remove the bulk of the pests

Nasturtians are good at attracting them, we have them dotted around and then we spray the plant aswell as the crops, they definately like them but like my veggies too.

Im  finding it hard too,  with it being hot have been leaving green house door ajar during the day and in they fly ,my tom plants were covered sprayed with bug stuff and does seem to kill off any new ones that appear for about a week or so .My problem is instructions for bug killer says to only use 3 times so will not be able to use it by end of month.I did try soapy water but didnt find it very affective to be honest.

You can brush them off with a chunky but soft paintbrush (such as a children's one). Or on tough stems like roses I just give them a good flick with finger and thumb and that sends them flying! When you've got rid of most of them try spraying the plants with garlic tea - greenfly don't seem to like the taste and it should help to deter them. If you're really desperate you can buy ladybirds to release onto them
