Our Wistaria has been blooming the whole year!

Sad really, as it's going to get a damn good haircut when the leaves have all eventually gone (mainly into the house, and Mrs Growster gets very, very annoyed...)!

We are into the great hedge prune - you know, the one you are supposed to do after flowering/the fruit have gone in June/July/August ..... that one.  Now racing to get it done while it is still warm enough not to risk the dreaded silverleaf in the plum.  Where did the summer go?  :(

Cant do the pyracantha and cotoneaster - the berries are glorious and the birds will need them later in the year.  Have to do those in the non existent gap between the berries being eaten and the bulbs starting to come up ... ::)

Checked my Gala earlier.....now if it stays frost free for a few months (he says looking out of window for flying pigs) I might have some apples in April 😀
