hi all just wondering if anyone had a recipie useing corn flour , not the white fine one used for thickening but a yellow flour bought by mistake by hubby , thatl teach me eh

Was just going to say that they use it in their bread, that's why the 'village' bread is quite yellow looking. :lol:

You can cook it up to make a sort of stiff porridge - either use it like mashed potatoes, or cook it a little bit thicker and slice it up.  Also, it makes a nice base for croquette-type things with left over meat, fish or veggies.

Ooh yes.  I have a nice recipe for cornmeal muffins with chopped dates - it's on the sweet-savoury border depending on what you put with them, or very nice on its own still warm from the oven,
