My new veg beds full of veg
« on: June 26, 2010, 02:13 »
My lovely new veg beds.

Yes I did too many toms and yes they are crowded in, but it'll be ok.  It will honestly.

Bed at Front mostly self blanching celery and a couple of toms.  Also some uninvited tats, as I said thought it would be clever to put kitchen scraps straight into bed, which included potato peelings.

Next two beds Toms.

Thanks Lesley, hard work though.  Next year should be easier as will be more organised and the good weather won't be so late and I will bubble wrap protect my perine (no not going there again, too embarassing if get the spelling wrong, my permanent every yearers flowers) .....................we live in hope.

They have gone a bit madder than any other year.  Started them quite early round about beginning of March I think, then cursed cos couldn't get them out in garden because of the weather.
