My Turn For A Lucky Day

Was down the plot this afternoon, when a pick up truck entered the site - had tree surgeons plastered on the side.

Guy pulls up, winds window down. Natural defences go up & think to self 'what's trying to sell'.

Anyway, says, "I need to dump a tonne of willow wood chippings, can anyone here make use of them?"

Transpires that he was working just up the road from the site & would have to make a long round trip to his base to dump the chipping & then return to pick up a more valuable load of logs.

Upshot is that 10 mins later returns with a tipper & dumps a huge pile of chippings for me & neighbour to share. Deep joy!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

No - no camera crews & my manure comes free from a neighbour who owns horses, but it costs me in veg!
