Had this Orchid since begining of last year flowerd once,now have two new plants growining at top of stem. Someone told me to cut them off and put in Orchid compost :unsure:.Wonderd if anybody has done this before

Yes, my orchid did that...I found out the new plants were called 'keiki' - allow the plantlet (or Keiki) to get to a nice, strong plantlet with several leaves & roots, gently remove from the main stem, I did this by cutting through the stem & just shortening the cut stem so that I didn't damage the roots/leaves & plant in orchid compost in a clear flower pot.  Mine is growing very nicely, a bonus would be to see a flower spike emerging  :)

Thanks for the advice I'll leave them to grow a bit larger before I plant them on.
