Christmas decorations
« on: December 17, 2007, 17:48 »
as we are in the miidle of a house move we decided not to do any decorations, well today i went round my garden and picked lots of holly/ivy and conifer bits and did a lovley display on our mantle peice in the living room, wound ivy around our lamp stands and did a centre piece on the coffee table then i wound ivy around the top of our log basket, it looks lovley and all free!! i also dried out orange slices and made a pomander with cloves that now is dangling from the mantle peice so when the fire is it will heat up to release the smell i'm really proud of it all!!
i also put in cinammon sticks and cones on the mantle mixed in with the greenery. :D

The only thing on our mantle piece is a photo of Mrs. Digger. It's there to keep the kids away from the fire. (Antique Joke #43).
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
