if i get some fertile eggs for my broody one and if they hatch will she rear them as her own even though she is one of six hens already or will i neen to bring them in and rear them myself

I bought some fertile eggs for my broody (1 of 5) and she has hatched them and rearing them herself. They are almost 3 weeks old.

She should do it all herself. Things can go wrong though and it would be best if you had a broody at the ready just in case.

thanks well i did it before with a light sussex and she just sat and sat and killed 1 so we had to rear the 2 surviving ones ourselves
