What breed could these hybrids be?
« on: November 28, 2010, 11:38 »
Morning everyone on this fine snowy day!

The other half's school has hatched some chicks a couple of weeks ago, some hybrids. I only keep pure breeds so have no ideas on hybrids! The males are yellow and the girls are yellow with a brown stripe down their back. Ive hatched cream legbars before which obviously have a stripe? These were described as egg laying hybrids, any ideas?

Cheers

Steve

Hi there, i had some from a school hatch, sound similar to yours. They turned out to be ISA browns or warrens.Lovely hens, lay well(still laying in this cold spell).Worth keeping a couple of hens to keep you in eggs over the winter.
