I've got in a complete mix-muddle this week meal wise and ended up nuking a spud tonight with cheese and beans - not very satisfying  My plans for liver and onions for tomorrow has also been trashed again as theres no lambs liver in stock again (4th shopping in a row ).

Rib eye steak between us with lyonnaise potatoes, peas & carrots, I missed lunch so had the remains of yesterday’s smoked haddock risotto as a ‘starter’ : when I came in from 3 hours working in garden clubs store

I had the last of the braised beef, spiced up with some curry powder, over peas and green beans.

Left overs tonight, I've got the other half of the battered cod fillet and Paul has a pork chop that we found in the freezer with a jacket potato shared between us.    Four packs of mince purchased today at the reduced price of £1.20, halved and put in the freezer.

Chicken in Cajun spice roasted with peppers, onions and a few chips. Few sugarsnap peas to go with it.

 Ftf roast chicken made into a hotpot, lovely after an afternoon spent tidying in the garden

Lasagne, if I can wake Paul up to help finish it off.  They've changed his medication again and I think they've upped one too much and dropped down on one too quick.

Brisket cooked in the slow cooker for 6hours and now just finishing off in the oven with a grain mustard & orange glaze (marmalade to you & me  ) with roast potatoes & parsnips, carrots,peas, & psb harvested this morning, Yorkshire puds ftf & gravy, what’s not to like

Complan yet again. There's a nasty bronchitis going around which, apart from trying to stop coughing, puts you off your food.
