Can I plant the kiwi's roots outside and grow them in the gh the same as grapes?

I would say, Yes you can, however kiwi are a bit of a thug and will take over the greenhouse. I have just cut down the 3 I had in the allotment because after 5 years I have not had a fruit and they take up quite a lot of room.

I grow mine outside and inside but both in large pots.

Thanks for the replies, I hope to be quite strict with the training and pruning.
I just hope it is self fertile as it was one of aldi's and it didn't state the variety on the card.
