asparagus beetle

Yet another pest, this time its asparagus beetle. >:(
Is it worth covering my asparagus with horticultural fleece as a barrier to asparagus beetle?  Or have I just got them and need to pick them off.
Seem to spend most of my time fighting weeds and pests.

If you've already got them then fleece will just keep them nice and warm, and protected from any predators that may exist.

Hand picking, I think.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
