I've got them down my plot, but only on some weeds growing on the path.

Aunty - are you being selective here? Would you be happy to grow cabbage for the cabbage whites??? :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Hmmm...  I should really Dave  :evil:  

But if all the butterflies or moths were beautiful black and red ones I might find the occasional white one quite exciting and give it a cabbage.  

I suppose its rarity value as well as beauty - a bit like Aunty too  :lol:

I get plenty of cinnabar moth caterpillars every summer chomping away on groundsel, though curiously I rarely see the distinctive and handsome adults.

Never seen them on swedes or other brassicas.

I haven't seen those creatures since I was a child they used to be everywhere when I was small - and I have always wondered what they were called :lol:
