Have now purchased anti butterfly netting from Gardening Naturally. Very pleased to find the quantity I was looking for,  at a very good price!.  Thanks again

I used old voile netting last year and it was fine enough to keep carrot fly out.

Learned the hard way that butterflies can fold their wings and get through normal netting  so am trying debris netting this year.

Have decided that I shall make a removeable, lid of debris netting that I can replace with normal netting in the winter in case it snows again
