at last things are getting going

over the weekend have got my onoin & shallot sets ,seed potatoes started off some broad beans and leeks in the greenhouse allotment is still a quagmire but its nearly time to get going at last
 dont the winters seem to take forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got my seed potatoes this morning too.  Popped the the allotment and was very excited to see the garlic poking it's head through.  It's all kicking off  :D

I love your enthusiasm but don't rush into it just yet.
On my allotment site I don't think anybody has even visited it yet.
Best to let nature take its course.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

dont the winters seem to take forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


They do up here. the frost hasn't shifted all day, nor did it yesterday and I don't suppose it will tomorrow. Still, it meant I could prop the ladder against the big apple tree and it didn't sink into the ground. With the help of number one son I managed to lop two big limbs off and reduce the height by 6-8 feet. This year I might be able to reach the apples  :)

Havent started anything yet. Far too early tbh especially been up north in Leeds, Minus temperatures tonight. Still be a couple of weeks before I really start anything.
