You'll be OK with what you've sown, but don't be impatient. It leads to tears as we've seen so often in the past. Even more so with the current weather.

Sowing too early can lead to weak plants. Far better to be a little late.

I was going to start off some "Nautilus" caulis, which I did around this time last year, but the compost is frozen rock hard, so that's been put off whist it defrosts in the greenhouse!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

The short answer is ... not a lot

Have sorted out seeds today though and will sow some chillis next weekend  ;)

where are you going to sow your Chilli's sunshineband.  I am interested in this, as I got a good crop last year, but would like to get an earlier crop.

Indoors, and keep them warm until they germinate. They need lots of light so they don't get all long and thin, and our house extension has roof lights, which help with this.

I sow them in a shallow pot, one variety per pot and then prick them out when they get a pair of real leaves.

They stay in side until there is a guaranteed night time temp of at least 15 deg C in the greenhouse. :) :)

I haven't sown anything yet this year (!) although I may do the chillis in the next week or so.  I did make a wildlife hotel at the plot out of pallets, veg crates, bamboo, twigs and stones, hope they like it!

I'm trying to work out how to lift leeks from ground that is frozen so hard I can't get a spade into it.
Might have to chop them off at ground level and lose the bit that went into the hole.

It was -10 here last night and it managed to warm up to -3 by late afternoon  :(

I'm not even going to build a snowman down the plot because it would take even longer to thaw out.

I'm growing some oyster mushrooms  :)
Got a kit for Christmas - but there is not much to do at the moment, just got to keep the bag warm for four weeks, so my heated propogator will be busy until the end of January. I can't even look to see what's going on because the whole thing is wrapped up in bubble wrap and towels.

Absolutely nowt, started to clean the greenhouse before the snow set in....stopped that!

I'm also itching to start growing stuff...was thinking of starting to sow toms and maybe chillies/peppers? but would they all have to be done indoors as my greenhouse isn't heated?

Just before Christmas I dug out all the snow from my garden.  I also dug up some parsnips and sprouts from my allotment and dug out some snow and scraped it off the greenhouse roof.

Last week, I dug out yet more snow.

Today, I dug even more snow, with more coming down as we speak. :D
