Can i grow some lettuce in between onions,where theres room? The onions are about a foot tall.

i was told long ago that onions don't like competition and to be sure to keep the weeds down and the soil around them bare. Don't know how true this is but it stuck with me and I am a demon weeder around the onions now! Why not have a go - let us know what happens

my onions and lettuce are in the same raisd bed a both are doing fine

are you growing the lettuce between the onions though SM? Or are they in separate rows?

Sounds like he wants lettuce between the onions, which I wouldn't recommend. With the onions so tall, the lettuce would struggle right now. To insert the lettuce now would disrupt the onions progress, which I doubt you'd like. Best to wait a bit until the onions are out and have lettuce ready to go in there. It seems tempting but onions really are fussy about their own space if you want good big ones.
