my mint has blackened edges, can anyone diagnose wot it is?
is it curable or should i burn it?

Lack of water or overwatering , keeping Mint in a pot is difficult, ypu may be better sinking the pot into the ground .

Feel the compost. If soggy then the plant is waterlogged and needs to drain. You seem to have a pot within a pot holder. This could be the problem.
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.
