supermarkets cant get rid of pumpkin surplus

morrisons asda tesco and other shops have a surplus of pumpkins at 40 p to 50p saw 2 for 1 also todayso i grabbed half a dozen , i decided to slice them up  and microwave them for about 10 mins each and then scoop out the flesh, then i put it in marg container s. and i have frosen it i have over 20 lbs of flesh  and will use it in soups and other things my ex wife s mom is coming over and said she will make lots of southernnnn pumpkin things for me  looking forwards to it  :lol:

Hope they are nice pumpkins not the large carving kind, they can be too stringy and watery and flavourless  :?
wistfully hoping to one day be mostly organic gardener in North London.

these are small football sized ones .make sure the skin still feels smooth n firm :wink: .

i saw a few small ones left in tesco here but that was all.

apparently paignton zoo were appealing for them as the elephants like to have a quick game of footy with them then eat the "ball"

am hoping to relight mine for the final time tonight as long as our guests don't call off the evening - should know in about 10 mins

don't think they are edible anymore,  and been lit for 2 nights already - the flesh seems rather soft and "cooked" already...

would love to send them to paignton but its a bit far from me!!
