JCB Excavators
« on: January 01, 2022, 16:14 »
Hello I've just been watching a programme on telly about JCB Excavators ,I was expecting  to see them being assembled in china   t,o my surprise  they are built from the ground up in England ,looks like JCB have stopped cutting component parts in England and shipping to china for cheaper assembly  Good on JCB  to return their assembly to England     jezza

I used to love the bright yellow Tonka truck toys!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Hello Snowdrops have you looked on YouTube for excavators theres a site full of them working I noticed one the other day that's like a virtual reality you can take control of the digger, was watching a site Christmas eve that is radio controlled construction equipment so life like till the lad running a loader puts his foot behind the machine    jezza

Thanks Jezza, watched it today with the little chap, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the tip about YouTube, I try not to let him know we can watch it here as he can get a bit obsessed with watching tube & they struggle at home plus I like to play games etc with him & cook to vary his activities but good idea for a difficult day

I think they are located in Staffordshire ( Uttoxeter)  area. The program I saw was part of the ' inside the factory '  series hosted by Greg Wallace .  He seems to have a knack of asking the questions that curious children want to know and seems to be genuinely interested in what the guide is telling him.
we also rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, grow own veg
