I have way too many raspberry bushes on my new plot. I am going to give most of them to my fellow plot holders but keep some and move them to a different location. I know that autumn is the preferred time to do this but the soil is so wet. Can I move them in March when hopefully the weather is better?

I would wait until Feb/March and make sure you get a good bit of soil round the rootball. There is a longer thread on this if you do a search , its from a couple of years ago.

They may have started to grow again by March.

I'd move them as soon as the soil allows ; )

Make sure you put some new compost round the roots when you plant them out. They'll get away better then.

And put a handful of bonemeal in the planting hole.
