Title: Nude Gooseberry Bush
Post by: lacewing on June 16, 2009, 06:16
My gooseberry bush has lost all it's leaves. It now looks like a freak plant with loads of fruit but not a single leaf. The leaves have'nt just droped off as the spines are still there, sticking out all over the place. I can't imagine the birds eating the leaves instead of the fruit. The whole thing looks really weird.

Just pop "sawfly" into a forum search.

A lot have reported this problem this year.
