Sowed a row of Nantes carrots and one of Moneta beetroot today on a patch that had hosted broad beans. Nothing to lose as the seeds would be out of time next spring. Will I get a harvest?

I see you are up north like me. I planted beetroot in August last year and it didn't manage to come to anything I'm afraid. Don't know about the Nantes carrots except to say the one's I sowed in May are still not ready so that is twelve weeks so far which would bring yours to the end of October/November.
