Can anyone help me with identifying this plant please which is starting to slowly take over my dads garden?

It could be Great Hedge Bedstraw.

its a fleshy type of plants that will grow well out of walls and pretty much any where else. the one I have is pink. I'm struggling to think of the name??  Valerian  I think.

Yes it does look like Valerian. Pull it out before the fluffy seed heads form as that will reduce the population a bit for the coming year

The leaf looks more like bedstraw than valarian to me, but either certainly needs removing !
