broody hens

has anyone got any lasting ideas of how to stop hens from going broody I only have two that have been laying since December 2007, I have tried different ways and they all work for a while, but then they go back to being broody again within a week, so no eggs, do I treat them too well they have the run of a large 150ft garden, bread in the morning, pellets in their coop all the time and corn at night.

No. Its simply mother nature at work. You must remember that all hens need a rest to recharge their batteries. :D

Thanks Bodger do you think I should just let them stay in the coop with no eggs untill they get over it?
