Hi,

Our pepper stems have black patches on them, and a few of the flowers have been affected by the same. Whilst it's not entirely rotten, I'm wondering, is this Blossom End Rot? Or does that only affect the fruit?

A few weeks ago everything was looking great in the plot, but after a blackleg outbreak on the potatoes, the world is looking blacker

Don't know what it is, but it's not blossom end rot. That is specific to the fruit.

Some peppers do have black patches on the stems, usually where they branch..........nothing wrong with them. It's just how they are
