Hi i'm planning on trying to grow some flowers from seed it says on packs pack sow between Feb -March So can i sow them now? They will be sown indoors and the moved out to heated greenhouse and eventually into pots/flower beds outside, I'm in Enfield,Middx

They should be fine, espicially if they are being moved out to a heated greenhouse

I hope you've got a big greenhouse, as they're going to take up a lot of space!

I'm not a flower expert, but I do know that some of those do not require raising indoors first, e.g. Cosmos, Cornflower, possibly the mixed annuals etc.

I'd check the instructions on the packet, as you're going to need all the room you can get.

I'd hold off planting the hardy annuals for now as I have planted them this early under glass before and they just seem to become too spindly from the heat.Be carefull with all of them as too much heat too soon will make them all spindly and will make them weak plants that will be knocked about by the wind

I think you may be a bit early with a lot of them, they will end up weak and leggy looking for light. Leave them till March when the light is stronger and in more abundance.
