Not surprisingly I used to love a full English which you simply can't have without fried bread.
The greasy spoon I liked used to deep fat fry everything (same oil) and it was sooo good the morning after the night before
No it wasn't a place for veggy people, in fact I think they probably buttered the toast with beef dripping
At home it would only be fried on 1 side in a smidge of fat (never as good). Much as I yearn for a dead pig and fungus sandwich, nowadays anything fried is very rarely on the menu
