A couple of our eggs have a little pyramid pushed up from in the egg. They were like this this morning and are still the same now. How long until they should hatch? I am a little concerned in this heat they will dry out, mind you both eggs are being sat on by hot broody hens, so would be hot anyway - do you think they will be ok?

It can be up to 24 hours from pipping (where they break the shell) til hatching.

Be aware though, that even if a chick pips it's not a guarantee that it will hatch    I had 2 l/f and 3 batams which pipped, and didn't hatch
