I got told today that if a man pees around the edges of the chicken coop a fox wont bother the chickens  :?  i didnt no if he was tsking the mick!!!!!!! or is it true and wouldnt it be smelly ? Got loads done today cleared loads of brambles and had two bonfires so was warm all day will probably have sum more tomorrow  :D  . its starting to take shape now and can see a light at the end of the tunnel well pleased  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D
need all the help i can get and not just with my allotment

we got told that as well, dont know it its true or not, rich said he would give it a go though!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard that a little urine was good for speeding up the compost heap but not womens as it's too acidic??  :?  

Not sure if that was a sexist comment or if it's true or not though!

im sure i popsted a reply to this earlier ,,,,,,, :roll:

 i have heard this for generations and  its an old trick used by gamekeepers it was supposed to protect the pheasants in the pens .i dont know if its true but i guess a lot of these old tricks have some truth in them .but thinking about the size of the pens they would need a lot to drink to cover the area  :lol:  :lol:

my other half swares by that old wives tale it has to be male pee though and the stronger the better.  Mind you  i wouldnt just rely on mans pee to stop a fox . foxes are very cunning.

I hate to admit this but my other half places little pots of his pee around the garden as he is convinced it works .... :oops:

He also dilutes the first pee of the day with water and waters the grass .....  oh dear I'm very embaressed now!!!
