Hi

Yesterday I noticed that one of my hens had a "foamy" eye, so today when I checked her, her eyelids seem to be swollen, but no foam in the eye.

I have done a quick search on here, and I am a bit concerned, as she is with 6 other hens and my ducks.

So I guess I need to ring my vets and ask if they deal with hens?

I have taken a few pictures, so any help, advice much apprecited.

Hi Jo, yes I would wizz her off to the vets, my sablepoots are ill and one of the symptoms is runny eyes and swollen sinuses. They are on their 3rd lot of antibiotics and swabs have now been taken from their eyes. When you go to the vets let them know how many chickens and ducks you have so they can all be treated just in case it is infectious.
