Title: Hatching eggs needed
Post by: Tensing on October 16, 2006, 11:06
I know its late in the season, but I need some fertile eggs urgently for one of my Silkies who has decided she wants to hatch eggs. If anyone can help that would be great.  Would prefer Bantams but others considered.
Thanks in advance

Not to worry, I do that all the time.

She wouldn't have been fooled by ping pong balls, as she can tell the difference between real eggs and rubber ones.

Thanks though
Title: Hatching eggs source

Sorry for late reply...

Probably not the most reliable source but try Ebay for hatching eggs.  If you are like me and experimenting with them, its worth a look to save some cash.  Lots of varieties to choose from too.

I have 12 in my incubator right now.  Bad time of year (courtesy of Karl's advice) I know, but couldn't resist having a go.  Hopefully will be a nice New Year present(s)!
