string of bad luck
« on: July 26, 2010, 13:33 »
After the recent theft of our birds i thought we have had our share of bad luck until we got a knock on the door2 nights ago, to tell us our cat had been run over. we eventually found him and discovered he had broken his leg so on top of everything i now have a got in plaster going spare crazy in my bedroom . he is a maine coon and loves to be outside and climb, he has already escaped twice in the last day, he is amazing how he has adapted and just wants to get outside. we ony have 3 and half weeks to go!!!!
hopefully this is the end of my bad luck now, i cant afford anymore.

Oh heavens!     I can imagine!  can you go and break a milk jug or something to get your 3 (as in bad luck comes in 3s) over without any more real harm done?

You poor things  :(

When Mac was run over last year and dragged himself home the vet thought he'd broken his pelvis but an xray showed he was very badly bruised with ligament damage but NO broken bones.

We had to keep him in for weeks and as an outdoorsy type of cat he hated it but I can't imagine what it wuld have been like if he had a plastercast on as well

I hope your poor puss is on the mend soon and that he doesn't cause you too many grey hairs whilst he's cooped up!  ;)

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.
