Title: Apples.
Post by: PAH48 on August 24, 2009, 20:08
We have been given bag loads of bramley apples...due to space in our already overcrowed..freezer...thinking along the lines of just freezing the apples ..say in chunky
pieces...would they need blanching in lemon water(boiled) to stop them going brown?
Or are there better ways to store them ?
Realy don't want to turn them all into pies ect..due to storage space..thanks in anticipation for your replies...PAH

Do you have a dehydrator Janette or do you do them in a low, slow oven?
