any bokashi experts?
« on: December 04, 2009, 18:40 »
I recently bought a bulk supply of bokashi bran and it was very moist. I have emptied two bagfulls into a large plastic container (with lid) in my shed, and it has now gone mouldy.  :(  I have been onto the supplier and they are going to send me some replacements but what I want to know is, is the yucky mouldy stuff ok to put in my compost bin or should I throw it away? A lot of green mouldy dust flies around when you handle it and i wondered whether this could be harmful in any way? I have asked the suppliers the same question by e-mail but they took quite a while to reply to my last message and I thought I may get a quicker response from you keenies ...  ;)
