When will it be safe to plant out my sweet peas and cup and saucers. I have grown them from seed and are both romping away. I have been hardening them both off for a couple of weeks now.

Your sweetpeas will be fine (mine went in last week), and according to my flower book cup and saucers can, and I quote! 'withstand a degree or two of frost', if you get them out now chances are they'll be in flower by August - I put mine cup and saucers out at the end of May last year and they took forever to flower, but it was worth the wait! Jude.

Pardon my ignorance - what are/is cup and saucers?

Green Fingers cup and saucers are Cobaea Scandens which is an annual climber that's a little slow to flower but when it does the flowers are bell shaped like a cup hanging on a hook and the leaf is it's saucer (I think!) You can have white or purple, and when they flower they're stunning - I grew them for the first time last year and now they'll be a regular, do give them a try! Jude
