First time growing peppers. Any guidence on what size pot to grow them in. I have sweet peppers California Wonder, F1 Mohawk and Robertina and chilli pepper Jalapeno.

Once you have got them germinated, pot them on to 9cm (3 inch in old money) pots.  They can't go out for ages yet, so I try and keep them in 9cm pots until they are pretty sturdy seedlings, then pot on to 1 litre, then 3 litre pots to go out in the greenhouse.

You can pinch back the shoots on peppers and it makes for a more compact plant and more flowers.  Left to their own devices they get quite tall but I think you get less fruit that way

Yep as new shoot says, start in small pots and increase size of pot as needed.  I didn't know about the pinching out so that's good to know.  I have mine in yoghurt trays at the mo, you know the ones that supermarkets stand the yoghurts in, they have 6 or 9 round spaces just right for the first potting on stage, and sit easily on windowsills, I'll leave mine like this until warm enough to go into greenhouse and then pot on into larger pots

Thanks for the help. One more question how big is a 3 litre pot in inches/cm.
