We currently have a half size plot....i'll measure it out tonight. So I called into the plot on the way home from work yesterday evening. The OH was already there and the secretary of the committee was rummaging in my shed. Turns out, the chap that had the other half of our plot (we've never seen him) has been given in marching orders. I don't know the ins and outs of the situation but his half doesn't look like its ever been worked.

Anyway, I asked the secretary what was happening with the other half of the plot and he said "it's yours if you want it". I am so excited. There is a lot to but I think it could be a nice over winter project.

We're on quite a dramatic slope (sideways) so the plan is to use levelled raised beds.

Advice from someone on a committee who gives out marching orders - make some effort to look as if you are working the new half before winter.
