After wine and chat till after midnight and incubators playing up all night (OH up and down, slamming doors) I didn't get up till six. after showering, making brekkie, seeing to chooks her I am, 7 o'clock. Disgusting. Now off to a bird fair to see if I can replace the lost eggs.

So here I am again. Can't blame cats, or even dawn chorus this time.

Quite a mild morning (9^oC), so all I can do is wait for it to get light and then trundle off to the plot.

I am here  woke up at 3.30 with terrible heartburn and acid in my throat. Must have been that fizzy drink I had last night. Won't be doing that again

Been awake half the night scratching. The bitey insects are out in force and I am the one they prefer to bite! The joys of gardening eh?
