I like to freeze my veg once its ready for picking to ensure I have fresh veg all winter. Whats the best way of doing this? do I Blanche it first? or just freeze it straight away?

Has anyone successfully frozen mangetoute? I find they go soggy and bitter whether they are blanched or not - I love them but relaly disappointed they won't freeze - any ideas?

No they don't seem to work, small sugar snaps are a bit easier IMO
