I am thinking of getting some is it easy to set up?, bank interest is awful and it takes ages to make any difference.

I am thinking of getting some is it easy to set up?, bank interest is awful and it takes ages to make any difference.

It isn't difficult, LLL< just get online to NSANDI, (National Savings and Investments), and register your name, etc. You'll get a dedicated number and they'll want your bank details, but it really is not difficult to do!

You'll get a special dedicated number, which you'll always use, and a few more formalities to fill in, but it's really quite straightforward! You can buy bonds online at any time, and ask that any winnings will go into your bank account direct! They send me a text or an email if I win, and of course, it's completely secure - well it has to be, there're squillions tied up there, hopefully some of it will be yours one day! You can withdraw your money and get it back within a couple of days at any time, so it's always there when you might want it! It's not like the lottery, when any bets you buy get binned if they don't win, with PBs, you get a chance to win every month!

Their website is very helpful, so best of luck!

Martin Lewis (money saving expert) has a good article on the website about the pros and cons of PBs. Might be worth a read before finally making a decision to invest.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

We won £100 for the first time ever, so are well pleased!

It came at just the right time too, as I had to buy a new pump for the drainage system...

(But you didn't want to know that, did you..;0)
