Life got in the way yesterday and I ended up with pasta and pesto late, finished the beef up tonight instead. Have to be honest I'm still famished despite also having a jacket spud at lunchtime - must be the weather.  :nowink:

I should go and make something otherwise I know I'll just keep visiting the kitchen and picking at things until bed time.

Defrosted some chicken leg & thigh combos (no exactly sure what you call that  ) It's a bit late in the day to put them in the slowcooker so they may well end up getting roasted for a chicken dinner.

I'm defrosting a portion of the curry I made with the Christmas chicken leftovers. Salad bits to go with it.

Change of plans yesterday and I ended up with mac and cheese. Chicken is in the slow cooker for tonight - currently considering turning it into a casserole

Stew, mash and veg.

I had lots of marrowfat peas in the freezer.  They were the peas that got missed when picking and turned into big pods, so I collected and dried them through the season, cooked them up as a batch and froze them.  Anyway, turned them into a stew and very good they were  :)

Diced beef casserole cooked in the slow cooker, to go with it, I nuked a spud and mashed it with some butter.

I left some chicken to make a pie to put with some oven chips but there's a butter related issue  ::) so it will probably end up as spicy chicken and chips instead.

I'm torn between leftover beef casserole (possibly turned into a curry?) and fish in parsley sauce... dunno.
I'll make up my mind nearer the time, I suppose

Rare ribeye, butter fried chestnut mushrooms & a baked potato (charlotte from a container put in the garage July 17th - missed the container & thought I'd had the last at Christmas).
