Apparently it is ceasing publication!:
If it is , what a loss?

It just seemed to repeat itself over and over again, so I'm not surprised if people stopped buying it to be honest. I did yonks ago...
I wonder if the forum of the same name will continue, without the magazine?

Sounds just like the Gardeners' World and Which? magazines.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

There’s an online one that you can pay & access loads of publications. I’ll find out & post details.
I used to get Kitchen Garden but I didn’t renew my subscription this year as again it got rather samey

I subscribe to Kitchen Garden but it too, like most of the others, seems to go round in circles. I do like the free seeds though. For the price they're not too bad.

why on earth would you want to buy a grow your own garden mag when you've got this site full of experienced gardeners and its free and as for gardeners world magazine, only fit to light the fire

Rowls, you've hit the nail right on the head there! Why spend money on stuff that just keeps re-cycling older versions of the same thing. If I need advice, I just put a post on here and do a bit of Giggling (as you do) then choose the best option for me.

I'm not sure it's possible to change the contents of gardening magazines.  There is only so much that can be written about a given aspect , we are interested in a 'hobby ' that has several areas of speciality,  propagation,  lawn care , seed saving are just some of the areas of interest.

We do read one of the magazines on a regular basis and we enjoy it,  in the armchair with cuppa or something a little stronger  :). We also refer back to previous issues on occasion when the grey matter needs a nudge.
we also rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, grow own veg
