Slow cooker pot glaze
« on: April 10, 2016, 14:40 »
I've just noticed the glaze on my slow cooker crock pot is covered in craze. Is it still safe to use or should I bin it ? It was only a cheap one and it doesn't owe me anything.

Mine did that, all of a sudden the glaze just went.  I went on using it for a bit then realized it was starting to leak.   :( :( :(  A replacement had to be found.  Mucho trauma until it was located and delivered.

So on that basis - don't panic and bin it today, but do hit Tesco/Amazon for a replacement soon.

I'll have to replace it then, next to the breadmaker I think it's probably the most used item in the kitchen   Id like a bigger one - but then a smaller one would also be handy.

Never used mine for cooking, I use it for nickel plating parts for my old (90 years old)motorcycle!

Cheers,  Tony.
