I have a certain routene now its winter:
Take water and food out of coop 1, shut pop-hole and put them all on the perches instead of being in the nest box
Do coop 2 and check all are well-they roost on their own
Return to coop 1, force (gently) my light sussex back out of the nesting box, avoiding the beak, and ensure she fluffs up and settles down
Return about an hour later and if necessary, block off the box

She will do anything to go broody again!   >:(  :)
